Conventions have always been a popular project for the Club and we have won many awards in the Food Fest, Costumes, and Booth Decorations categories.

2009

BBLC received a 5-Star award (patch) at the 2009 District 4-L5 Convention held in Laughlin, NV May 14-17, 2009.

Big Bear Lions Club Secretary, Barbara Horn, was honored at the District 4-L5 Convention in May 2009 with two awards:  The 100% Secretary (one of nine in this category), and Secretary of the Year, Category B.  There are strict criteria that secretaries must meet in order to be eligible for these awards — CONGRATULATIONS! Barbara.  Below is a picture of Barbara being presented the Secretary of the Year award from International Director Art Marson, from La Crosse, WI.
