8 -  4:00-7:00 PM – Pizza Fest at Village Pizza – fundraiser for City of Hope Medical Center

9 – 4:30-6:30 PM – A community wide event to welcome Jordan Romero back from his record climb to the top of Mount Everest at the  Big Bear Middle School Football Field, FREE to attend.  Over 25 booths, kids’ activities, and presentations to Jordan.  Dinner will be served starting at 5:30 PM and at 7 PM a Meet, Greet & Slide Show with Jordan and his family will take place at the Middle School Gym.  Dinner and Slide Show are $5 for kids and $8 for adults.  All proceeds benefit Jordan’s charities.

17 -  Regular Lions meeting is cancelled.

20 – 2:00 PM – Installation of 2010-2011 new officers at Meadow Park, Big Bear Lake.  It will be an All American picnic/potluck; Lions are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and wear soft soled shoes.   The Club will provide the main dish; attendees are asked to bring a side dish — no charge to attend.

24 – Board meeting is cancelled.
